Yeah I sure do love the HP numbers on the 5.3 but it is a newer engine and I believe (I really need to steal a Silverado to know for sure) that it uses a whole different layout for the accessories where as the old school, albeit slightly less powerful, 5.7 allows you to swap all the 4.3 accessories over. Again these are the things that I can' find definite answers too. Although I do know that I will need a new wiring harness (I am guessing with the donor's computer), new motor mounts, and possibly a better cooling system.

BTW I am liking this board... unlike many others you are willing to tolerate a new guy that doesn't know everything and asks a lot of questions... and damn if you don't have some cool smilies!
