Normal. Think GM says 1 qt every 3k is standard. I lose 1.5 every 3k.

What year? 99-03 (maybe 04) are the years that burn more due to the PCV.

Okay well thats a relief just never had it happen before.... Lets just tell my girlfriend it will need to be replaced some day soon lol

mine was burning a quart every 1.5 k miles. I started adding lucas at every oil change and it hasnt burnt a qrt since. IDK what it did but it helped.
