We have no issues with the 6.0 and 4l60e behind the 3900lb blazer 360rwhp on motor and add nitrous to it. We go 11.2 on nitrous consistently. Don't fear the transmission if built right. I mainly race eight mile and it runs 6.80 all day long on the nitrous
