    lm7 heads to new 5.3 799 benefits?

what would the power gain be by going to a set of 799 (milled down to keep stock CR) with the mods i have (link in sig)
would it be worth 600-700 total to do it (heads/machine work/valve springs/gaskets/head bolts/ls7 lifters because i was there)

not worth it, youd have to mill them to at lease .030 keep the stock compression ratio of the 5.3.. yes they do flow alittle better but for a NA setup id find another route, now forced induction yeah it would be worth it.

For the amount of money spent I don't think the gain would be worth the money spent with not being able to raise compression any. Any decient porting and ect will be 700+ alone. Then you still have the 250+ for the heads. I'd put my money toward a head that had a smaller chamber to begin with to raise compression. Could pick up so pretty nice heads that will help much more than the rout currently planned
