need to make a trim panel for the top two, and still waiting on my wideband/oil pressure gauge to put down where the radio was. Putting the egt thats in the box above the cluster in a single pod on top of the steering column right in front of where the old park/neutral/reverse/drive window deal used to be.

well i need to get the cobb out of my ass and get some done to this thing. I have been sidetracked with the gto lately, and have been slipping.. on that note..
I got some more stuff added to the gto and decided after getting barely beat by a local prick, that i am going all out with it and keeping the truck a bit simpler. Im going to just do the 5.3 in the truck with the 4l80 and not do the force induction at the moment. I need this to be a more reliable daily driver, and the extra investment to make the turbo setup reliable isnt in the cards right now.
The gto managed to make 473whp/452wtq with bad plugs, and i have not dynoed it again since the new plugs. I did add an austrailian over the radiator intake, ls3 maf *(card style) and a 102 throttlebody. Whoever said the 102 throttlebody would be a nightmare, is wrong. swapping from my oem drive by wire 90mm ls2 tb to the 102 was a major drivability increase as well as gobs of throttle response and low end torque. Swapping the intake from a trickflow k&n style short ram to the new over the radiator/maf yeilded 16.4whp and 14ft lbs of torque.
I got my harness from nelson also for the truck. BAD ASS! may i add the place is so bad ass they even sent me a frisbie for the dog. Even the frisbe is HARDCORE in comparison to what the dog goes through. lol.. That little bastard will terminate a frisbie in the matter of 2 days and the nelson one is still strong! lol (my wife told me to mention this.haha)

Future plans are now to swap the bottom end in the gto from the oem ls2 to a 370 forged setup with pinned mains and all arp hardware and tfs 235 heads. I was going to use the masterpower gt45 i have, but new plans have really got me looking at precision PT-88 billet or a PT-80-47 or even the pro mod 91 bb (major coin)... Objective with that seems to be over 1000hp at this point. Ive taken the entire fuel system off my old rx7 and am currently building the fuel system for the gto. -12 feed, -8 return, weldon filters, aeromotive eliminator pump, aeromotive fuel pump controller, custom cell and remove oem gto gas tank, remove abs, redo brake lines, blablabla..
All im lacking for the truck at this point is the fuel system. I was going to look in lmc truck and just buy an oem gas tank for an 87 tbi c20, as well as a stock sender and fuel pump setup. I do have a left over cell i got for the gto that may end up fitting under the bed someplace now that im thinking of using. Pretty sure with these dingo mounts, once i get a crank spacer and a 4l80 flexplate i can bolt the engine to the trans, get it mocked up in the truck and hopefully slide the motor towards the back and prevent from needing a driveshaft to be custom made. If thats the case, my only loose end at ths point is the fuel pump/feed to the rails and i am ready to roll.

If only she could help me. I've got almost everything now. Just need motivation.truck is on its last leg too. Brakes are shot, flexplate sounds like a ice cream spoon blasting a gong and either the oil pressure gauge is shot or she's pulling like 10 psi. Lol. Like a rock..
