    I don't have my PRND column indicator lights/wiring hooked up yet, out of pure laziness. Are you guys saying its a neccesity, that they be wired, for proper transmission function/health? I don't have a safety switch on the side of the tranny either, which is what(I think) they need to be wired to. Do these need to be linked/wired together? My truck seems to shift o.k. without them...but would like to know if I'm doing something wrong. Thanks

    As was stated you don't need it.
