Anyone ever run a 28 x 10-16 Hoosier slick on a factory 16" rim? They recommend a minimum 8.0" width rim size. Aren't the factory 16's 7.5"?

yup i ran mine on em at the ls1 shootout..they hooked badass at 13psi...but yea they buldged up a litle since the rims arent 8'wide but that didnt affect anythingOriginally Posted by emmerich5.3
Yup I run mine on stockers to. Hook fine and tuck in my fenders since my trucks so low

Bad ass so how much are they worth it over the Hoosier radials since you have to buy tubes?
I don't run tubes in mine. Maby I should but Iv never had problems. And mine don't leak really. Maybe a few lbs over a month.
