skeets truck is one bad dude, but don't go off of his driveshaft luck, if it was anyone else it would have come apart by now lol.

i've seen more than one take out the trans when it goes. majority will say, get a good shaft and be safe.

i'll agree with allen the setup has to be perfect or properly setup , drivetrain, pinion angle plays a huge roll plus its steele, theres no flex in the rear as the 4 link is probably keeping the 10 bolt together anyway id agree with the rest a very well built drive shaft would add insurance to any build. ill be getting one soon but not to soon lol.. i run to drive shaft hoops

Yea I would be pretty pissed if my driveshaft took out the tranny especially bc it's getting beefed up right now. I'm going to get a price from the shop who built the one for my dads chevelle. I think he only paid $250. Do y'all know if ronsmachiningservice sells a 1350 yoke to fit my 8.6?

Im running one from thrash also. ordered on mon and had it friday at my doorstep. a $20 ujoint took out $1000 worth of stuff from starter, tranny case, flywheel, exhaust, gas tank..... 500 on a ds is cheaper insurance for me.
