yes they will, i lowered my truck 1 inch with stock, then changed to drop keys and it will now lower it 3 inches also it lets u lower truck and gives u more room for adjust when getting realighned

You can use the Belltech (or other brand) drop keys or 2500 keys. They both have the same affect, but the actual drop keys have a better angle on the bolt engagement.

fabed my own tool to be used on my floor jack. I used some ½ inch square tube and a ball bearing. Using the tool was easy, all that needed was to remove the bolt on the torsion key adjuster- rise the jack up so the ball bearing was on the key notch and jack the key up off the adjuster-remove the adjuster- lower the jack=BAM out with the old.

Make your way to a diesel forum and trade straight up for 2500 keys. Z71 keys raise 2500's while 2500 keys lower z71 and other 1500's.
