GT4 is the RPO for the 3.73's. G80 is the RPO for the piece o' crap diff GM uses (I think Eaton makes it). You don't have to worry about it, if you don't abuse it. I broke mine almost 2 years ago (as in it no longer functions as a posi) and my rear end is still together.
