    yep shes down, broke comps baddess new 926 springs 2 of them, broke one of revs valves at 6000 rpms on the street shifting at 6400 the valve came apart at the seat and stem, took out the head and #8 piston, yeah its a mess, the build specs are within tolerances comp has the build and prints, as to REV, having trouble with REV they claim its not there valve ( wtf ) comp is taking all measures to help with the issue, they did admit it was a spring failure and the springs ( 2 ) were sent to there lab for futher issues.yeah i would like comensation for the cost to redo the whole motor but i aint waiting on COMP nor REV, comp mentioned it could be a month up to 3 months, so i ordered new heads,new piston, comp is shipping new springs, everything is being checked out from crank to rods to pushrods along with new valves..hopefully in the end i'll at lease get 1/2 compensated for the disaster, but im really not expecting it.. oh yeah the block was sent back to the machine shop also, to have it checked out, i might as well raise the compression to a mere 11:4 to 12:4 and still run pump gas looking at 3-4 weeks down time

    that sucks Skeet.. Comp will probably only want to replace their springs and thats it. Sucks

    wow this is terrible I feel bad for you. Comp prolly won't do much unfortunately, but if they do then A+ to them.

    comp made a call last friday to rage motorsports, seems like after the metalurgist looks more into the springs a offer will be made to help with the build, i can only say this will make things alot better, i never expected ( and i still dont ) but if they do they'll get my respects forsure for helping out


    we are reworking the whole setup

    how many cubic inches is your engine?

    Damn skeet that sucks. Hope you get it all sorted out. The next combo can only be better so thats the good news.
