Column shift or Floor shift?

A different shifter cable should do the trick.

There is no cable...its all hard linkage...

i had no problem, im using the stock shifter in the column to shift the 60e tranny in my 82 c10

You were able to use the factory linkage? or did you get a kit from somewhere? How does the indicator on the column work with the 4 speed?

Is the indicator electronic or just fluorescent bars? U can use the stock mechanical linkage. We've done a few conversions works fine.
