    6.2 Raptor

Well on the way home from work I stop to get fuel in the truck and a brand new SVT Raptor pulls in at the pump next to me. Had an exhaust for sure but not sure what else. Im standing there and ask the owner if it's got the 5.4 or 6.2. He says 6.2. I chuckled and asked what he payed for it. He kinda chuckled and said "you don't wanna know". So my tank is full so I get in the truck and prepare to leave. He does at the same time. Ends up following me for about 5 miles just hanging back. Gets up next to me just past last stop light on the main drag in/out of town and hits it...probably from about a 30 roll...with no warning so I'm already playing catch up. He jumped to about a full length maybe a little more and I start to pull him in at the top of first...what do you know it misses a shift! So he pulls away significantly. Gets to the highway overpass where it necks down to 1 lane each way si he slows down and I catch back up. Goes over the highway and onto the state highway I take home, also one lane each way, and from my vantage point you can see traffic for 2-3 miles ahead and there was none. so he gets going around 70. I get next to him, look over, and hammer down. Let's just say my truck is definitely a highway BEAST until I can get a stall.
Anyway I got a full fender on the hit and didn't stop there...stayed in it till around 5000 or about 125 based on an rpm calculator...and when I let out he was probably a full bus length maybe 1.5 back.

Let's just say I am gonna be doing all I can to get a stall ASAFP.

Yes I know it's an auto but when any transmission gets to it's shift point and doesn't shift, but bounces off the limiter 3-4 times I don't know what else to call it other than missing a shift. You wanna call me dumb that fine, but when one of the most respected members on this site tells me that's what's happening then I'm gonna listen to what he has to say.

I never said I missed anything. I said it. Meaning the trans. And unless you can explain what happened then please shut your mouth and leave my thread. Thanks for coming. Bye.

Good kill. I ran into a hennessy procharged one locally a few times. They cost a pretty penny. They are fast....but not unbeatable.

I whooped one of the new Mustang V8's.. Don't know if it was a 5.0 or 4.6.. Definitely whooped it though.. The guy was surprised xD He kept flying past me and I went with him and asked him to race. We got to about a 1 mile bridge and start from 30. I leave him from the start, and as soon as it shifts he catches up and I leave him again. Friend took a video of it but you can't see anything. First time I took my truck up to 118mph as well, haha.

I ran one in Lubbock a while back, from a dig he pulled on me pretty hard but from a roll we were neck and neck... dead even up to about 90.

You should double check to make sure it was a Raptor. Last time we had a ford truck incident around here, people drove all the way to ennis to prove Lightning owners wrong. LOL just kidding
