Thread: 05 5.3 to LS2 harness question

    Sorry about that, Im using truck harness and PCM for the swap of 5.3 to LS2 with LS3 heads and intake. I was just wondering if anyone had used the Katech harness ext. for the knock and cam sensor so the truck harness can be used. Also with the inj. I wanted to know if anybody has used the adapter plugs /harness to go from the truck harness to connnect the LS3 injectors? Im thinking I might just splice in new connectors for the inj. Hope this clears it up a little.
    05 CCSB, Volant CAI, LS2, XER281HR, stage 2 p&p with spring's, pacesetter LTs, offroad Y pipe,magnaflow muffler, 4-6 drop w/ helper bags, 20's, steel cowl hood, shaved gate, roll pan, 3000 circle D, 40k trans cooler, HIDs and someother little upgrades.

    oh ok, ya the truck harness is what you wanna use. the extensions are fine to use, they do work.
    did you find any truck to ls2 injector adapters? i think i saw them once, but can't find them anymore, i don't think anyone has a truck male clip.
    You can just cut the truck ones off and solder on the ls2 connectors.

    Yep thats what im going to do, I cant find any for truck to LS3 inj, only LS! to LS2 or LS7 . Thanks
