Ok, I ordered my stall finally, I waited so long becuase I wanted to get yank on the phone, they are hard to get a hold of, I was calling for three days and finally got them on the phone this morning.

    I got the Stealth Thruster 3200 (278mm, 3200 stall, 2.25 STR)

This stall will work just fine with 3.42 gearing, which is great becuase I'll get my highway diving back.
It's going to lock up just fine and should move the truck with no more gas pedal effort than the 2600 I have (maybe just a tad) but will stall to 3000rpms.

Hopefully that will knock my times down a couple or a few tenths.

Yank says this is the number one selling (along with a couple others) stall for the f-body's. Since my truck weighs just as much as an fbody, and I have the ls1 in there, it should work just fine.

I can't wait, Tbyrne said the stall will take about 1 week to get here.

btw, thanks Hitman for the input.

    Later,

    allen

You better hit 12.99 with your stock manifolds!

No word on the stall, yank is so damn hard to get a hold of, jeeez

as soon as i get it, hopefully that night it will go in, i can't wait, my current one is making more noise as the days go by, and i still can't keep my foot out of it, lol. oh well.

if i can get about 100miles on it or so, that should be good for the track, what do you think, if so, the first frid or wed after the install i'll be there.

    thanks,
