    Sorry to thread jack but is there anywhere to get it on the cheap I know used is always great but nothing is as great as new....... I know some places do it like 480 instead of 500 any place got it cheaper?

    what exactly are u asking?... to buy hptuners or a tuner download

    sorry an actual copy of hptuners software and cable. Also any good reason to get pro over normal? I know you can lock the tunes(i don't care about this) and you can hook up other devices like widebands but are you not able to use a wideband at all with the normal version?

    The pro box has 0-5v inputs, you need these to hook in a wideband.

    I also wondered the same about the Pro vs. the Standard one. So I guess the Pro is the one to go with? http://www.nelsonperformance.com/ and Summit Racing also sell them.

    I definitely like the sound of do it yourself plus where I may see boost in the future it would be better to start off slow and get a lot of practice. I have a buddy with an 04 gmc 5.3 that needs a tune so I can play with.
    and I call myself a mechanic...
