They're little turbos though. at about 15 psi i might make 700ish. At which point the factory head bolt will probably stretch and the heads will take off like rockets. And i'm not really looking to lift heads. I figure low boost and high compression will give me great fuel mileage and plenty of power for a turbocharged engine. If it works out, I'll build a second kit to match and somebody else with a rear fuel cell can switch over to this system fairly easily.
The oiling system is one element that will take some work. I don't want to put 30k on a kit only to have an electric oil pump malfunction and burn up both turbochargers. But then again, i don't like the idea of mixing the turbo-oil with engine-oil. So i may look into a separate oil system that can be driven by the engine. I'll have to be able to regulate the pressure, and it will need a big oil cooler as well as a good filter system. So maybe a single stage belt driven pump for a dry sump system will be the way to go.
