Lots of good info in here After reading this, the wiring is the only real thing that is puzzling.
I do have one specific question though, related to a LY2 swap into my '92 full size Blazer.
What do I have to do related to the stock trans in my '92? Its a 700R4 with the only electronic piece being the torque converter lock up. I have read that I can wire the trans so the torque converter locks up automatically, but that it only does so in OD, where mine locks up in 2nd, 3rd, and 4th (I think) and want to keep that functionality. Can this get wired to the factory engine computer? Does it need to be wired via a separate torque converter lockup control system?
