I am looking at springs right now,and wondering whats this inner and outer stuff? My gate had one spring in it. Do i want an inner or outer or middle??

Well,i vented to atmoshpere and put a tial 4 pound spring in it,and it still is going upwards of 14 to 18 pounds of boost,i could probly go higher but i let off. Im starting to think maybe a 38mm gate isent enough?? I have a stock 6.0 with a S400 borg 76mm. Also,i put air to the gate to see it it worked and it opens very smoothly. So i dont think my gate is screwed up.

38mm is plenty. If I remember right the line to the wg needs to be before the throttle body.

i always source my gates off the turbos, has never gave me an issue

i owuld however put a smaller spring in it

a 38mm can work but if not positioned correctly then its going to not control as needed. a Wastegate isnt something you should of skimped on to begin with however since you have it, find a smaller spring and go from there.

it ain't that I'm too big to listen to the rumors, It's just that I'm too damn big to pay attention to 'em..That's the difference
