Anyone with HPT or EFI Live can do it. Get in contact with a repuatable tuner and tell them you want torque management removed. Personally, with the 4l60e you have, I wouldn't remove it all. Remove 80% of it.

Are ther some good upgrades for my 4L60E? I know alot of you guys on here are upgrading to the 4L80E trans. Will the 60E hold up with some upgrades?

60e's are hit or miss. Some guys have pushed 500+ through them without issue... some fail in stock form repeatedly. You can have yours built. Look up performabuilt lvl 2 and build according to that spec sheet.

If your not plannin on doing much just a few bolt ons you could do a shift kit, servos and drive sensible and the 4L60E would last a decent amount of time but if you decide to go boost, spray, or a bigger cam a built 60E or 80E would be the route and just go ahead and get it done

No plans for boost or laughing gas. I would eventually like to run a Magnacharger, but I'm a long way from that. Basically, I just want to maximize my stock 5.3 to it's full potential. I know if I go any furhter than that, I'll have to upgrade the tranny. As for now, maybe just a tune and gears. I'm still looking into which CAI to get, or even IF to get one.

Thanks for all the advice, guys. I'll check into having the TM adjusted.

I made the switch from 323 to 373 and there was a huge difference out of the hole. Worth it big time if you do a lot of racing from a dead stop. But honestly if I could go back I woulda went 342 becuz I never run from a stop.. Always a 30 roll or so... 323 were better gas mileage slower from a stop but I loved them if I was going and running someone on the highway. Hope this helps. Also the 373 in the quarter gave me almost a whole second. So no doubt worth it for the track.

I'll keep that in mind about the gears. I mainly plan to keep this a "family" vehicle as I already have my 68 as my hot rod or my toy. I would just like to have it run better that the rest of the stockers out there.

Allen can do an 87, 89 and 91/93 tune.

Why is this even a question? Hell, my buddy and i fabbed one for his SBC 350 using spectre parts from Oreilleys for 70-80 bucks including a K&N filter. Felt a huge difference.
