It would run 8-9 pounds. When i put the 6.0 in i moved the wastegate to the crossover and dumped it into my exhaust. And for some reason now i am at 14+ pounds of boost. I have added a BOV on my new setup and eliminated the PCV valve. I also took the wastegate apart to reclocked it so the ports were facing upwards. Do i have to hook any lines up to my BOV?Its a 50mm wyntom. Does anyone have any ideas why i am making so much boost now?
Going from a 5.3 to a 6.0 can change some things around. If it stables out the gate is opening, if it never does the gate might be stuck shut. There are 2 ports on the gate. One close to the body, (lower port) one farther away (hi port). Hi port should be open to atmosphere, (no plugged) used for boost controllers some times, the lower port should be connected to the intake or the turbos outlet. Seen both; both work.
The BOV needs to connected to your intake (post tbody).
Gates location is fine, been doing that for many years. Like others have said, change you spring out, and or vent the gate to atmosphere and see if the problem is fixed.

One other thing, check your link going to the gate, for leaks and or mushy hose. Long runs of cheapo vaccum line, the line will expand and change things around.

Or instead of doing all that other stuff, just get it retuned for 14lbs and voila!
