New guy from Charleston sc area

My name is Hal. 28 years old. Married with a 5 year old child

I daily drive a 2000 RCSB 5.3 silverado. Only mods are semi cai, magnaflow magnapacks , 20's and stereo.

Toy truck is mine and my dad's 2001 s-10 blazer xtreme. We are undergoing a 6.0 swap in it from the lt1 that we did put in there 2 years ago. Its mods are as follows
    227/227 .614 115lsa lsl cam
    CAI
    Full exhaust
BUILT 4l60e (has adapter to run behind lsx)
    3200 Mulitdisc Vigilante stall
8.8 rear with 4.10 gears and 31 spline axles
    275/50/15 MT drag radials
    Nitrous outlet 2 stage plate
    FJO progressive controller
    Electric fans
    Transmission cooler with electric fan
    Hydroboost setup

Hoping to go some 6.90's 1/8th or better in 2 weeks at the s-10 supernationals with 200 shot of nitrous. Last year blazer weight 4200 lbs and should weight around 4k or slightly less this go round. Removed some things here and there

LT1 put down 340/380 tq (I believe, have to check sheets) and went 7.5's on motor constantly .

Anyway, glad I found this place. Came over from PFtrucks and realized more people race here than over there.

Sounds like a nice toy. Now put up some pics and keep us updated on the swap. Shouldn't have a problem getting down into the high 6's, especially with the 200 shot.

I will try to keep you updated. But right now we are at a stand still waiting for the hughes adapter for the lt1 transmission to the ls motor and the Swap headers.

I will get pics up later. Right now I can not access my photobucket or facebook.

This is the tow pig when we took it to the exhaust shop last time.

OLD MOTOR SETUP. 97 lt1 with golen engine ported stock heads , custom cam, full exhaust, ported intake, larger tb etc etc etc

Last time on the dyno with our tuner

    6.0 motor being test fitted

dual lt1 fans that I made a shroud for. Have to ditch stock hood latch now.

Here is my daily. Just like every other stock pewter 99-2000 model lol. I need to lower it SOON and maybe go to 22's.

Sorry, that I got carried away with the pictures.

Here is a video from last years s-10 meet. We have 9 days to get ready for this years s-10 supernationals meet that is being held near us this year. Last year was Emerald Coast dragway in HOLT florida

Blazer has true stock suspension. No traction bars, no anti roll bar nothing. Only suspension mods it has is dropped spindles up front and 2" blocks in rear with the stock zq8 suspension. I did finally add Rancho 9000's to it for adjust ability in the rear. I need to find some traction bars though. It has cut several 1.53 60ft times. But usually averages 1.60-1.70 60 ft as it sits on motor. Hope the 6.0 with cam and full exhaust and tune can do the same thing at least
