paypal would not help in this situation either, paypal buyers protection is only for ebay transactions i found out a few years ago. I sent a guy in san fran 900 bucks for a turbo through paypal and 3 weeks later when i had no turbo, I contacted paypal and they refunded me the .64 he had in his account and told me there was nothing they could do for me. I reported the guy to the fbi and I never heard anything back from them and I never got my turbo.

x2 I had some thing similiar to that happen to me using PayPal on a non ebay transaction and they were unable to do anything to help me in any way so I was just out the money.
Before this happened I had always felt secure using PayPal.
