    Exclamation problem

Ok so i have a really bad misfire, i just changed my plugs and wires and i still have the misfire... im wondering if it is the tune i got from nelson performance... does anyone know if it is common for coil packs to mess up? im ordering a new tune and im hoping thats it but it feels like its missing on more than 1 cylinder... has anyone had this problem with there tune before?

if you still have the original pcm, install it and see if your misfire goes away.

How did the old plugs look? If it's a tune issue they will tell you.

    Hey Michael,
A tune will not cause a miss. The pcm is there to dectect a miss, not cause one.
Before anything can be done, get a scanner on the truck and scan each cylinder for misfires, that will point you in the right direction.

Sending out a retune for a miss caused by some electrical component will not fix a misfire.
I see your retune is for gears, servo, etc.

If it does fix it, you will want to check and clean all the pcm terminals to ensure connectivity is good.

Remember, the PCM collects data from sensors, then controls devices such as transmission solenoids and injectors.

Once again, get a scanner, it'll tell you what cylinders are missing.
