You may be right skeet, I did a quick search and saw 9.5:1 so you may be right.
I am sure milling .020-.025 would get you 10:1, Which would be a decent CR, But not sure if its worth it. On a Lq4 I would do a bad ass set of milled and P&P 243s and net you around 10.5:1-11:1 and call it a day.

Me personally ... I was thinking of a 408 LQ4/9 build with L92/LS3 heads with a TVS2300 blower on top. Just wondering if it would need to run some thicker head gaskets or work the combustion chambers over to drop the compression ratio down to about 9.0-9.1:1. With the right cam, should be in the 800fwhp range for around $10-11k.
