And the 6.2 is aluminum, so your saving an ass ton of weight. You could re-coop a lot of it selling the LQ9, they're still worth a fair bit. If I could get an L92 for a grand I'd be on it like a fat chick on a cupcake.

Yep thats correct, As long as you run the Ls3/L92 intake mani. You should see 400+ depending on cam..

To the OP: Like Frenchy said, If I had a chance to jump on a 6.2 for that price I would do it in a heart beat. You should be able to sell your complete Lq9 for that price, Lq9s go for about $1500 complete here in cali..

Good catch skeet, For the Lq4 he would need to mill the crap out of them for sure.

What would you expect the CR to be on the LQ4 with unshaved L92 heads (stock head gaskets)?

    if i remember correctly on a lq4 unmilled 92s would be around 9:9:1 ?

i guess milling them a few cc would get him close to 10:1 ? but owuld it be worth it

You may be right skeet, I did a quick search and saw 9.5:1 so you may be right.

I am sure milling .020-.025 would get you 10:1, Which would be a decent CR, But not sure if its worth it. On a Lq4 I would do a bad ass set of milled and P&P 243s and net you around 10.5:1-11:1 and call it a day.
