theres people on LS1tech that says the TCI paddle shifter will not work on the 6L80e

also im told you have to have the BCM programed with a 6spd system, then you will have a duplicate vin and will have to talk to the tech about trying to change the vin without losing the program that it's uploaded. im no tech but thats what ive come up with my search so far. there is no tap shift update for the non tap shift guys that swap in the 6spd as of now. there are a lot of people trying to figure it out.

i honestly dont see what is the problem with wiring the shifter buttons to the w.e wires in the bcm that signals the tcm. i would like a diagram of the BCM harness, and the TCM harness to see if i can just bypass all the crap vs needing this to do that to make that over there work to make this shift. blah blah blah lol
thanks for the info bro....keep me updated...i want to do this as well

no all you have to do is buy the shifter an tab that bolts to the column. it wont go past 3rd gear. itll save you cash on the "cluster"
