i need a hand finding head for my project. I'm building a 408 with two stages the final stage is a 300 dp, the spec for my cam is 244/252 .638 115+4, the intake is a pro flow. so any help finding the right heads for my project would be great thanks

Which pistons are you using? What do you want your CR to be? How much do you have to spend?

where did you get that cam spec? is it something you came up with? someone spec it out for ya? personally it sounds like your motor is gonna be a nitrous fed motor, im basically building a simular build with much larger split on duration.
theres alot of choices for heads, trickflows,AFR's, ls3/l92s, <---- pending intake ? LSA's,243s, this list goes on

its a bullet cam that was spec for a 408 fed buy nitrous. im not to sure what my cr will be yet. i know theres pleanty of brands im looking for a little more help on nailing it down to which will work best for me
If you know a good head porter, a well worked set of 243's would be nice.

But l92s would absolutely love that cam. But then again, idk if they'd push water.

Wouldn't 243's have too much compression for a 408 on nitrous? Maybe 317's?
you'll never have to much compression on a nitrous fed motor, i wanted to go 14:1 but decided against it, kinda wish i would have since i dont drive the truck much anymore, then again it depends how often he plans on driving the truck or is strictly race, i guess the main question his how much he wants to spend on heads and how fast does he wanna take his setup
by the way 317s ar junk on a nitrous fed motor![]()
