    Ive must have gotten lucky. since it seems like everyone says centering is soo important. Why is its so important anyway?

    If it is not centered it will be grinding on the crank, send metal shaving through oil system, and eventualy fail....

    Ive never used feeler gauges or any sort of measuring equipment. Ive just simply eye balled it centered on the crank and tightened it down. The motor in my truck right now is the double digits of how many oil pumps Ive messed with and this one has about 2K on it so far and idles at 60psi on 5w20, maybe Im just lucky...
