    valve spring question

    alright im working on the 5.3 for my swap in my thirdgen and iva got the cam swaped and need to do the springs and i have a question. will a pancake style air compressor be enough to hold the valves up for me to swap the springs?
    03 yukon xl:intake, longtubes ory,performabuilt lvl2,circle D 278,tune, tint, lt1 fans

    atleast 80 psi or so

    Yup, 80psi or so will be plenty to hold the valves up. I kept the pressure around 100psi when I did mine - worked like a charm.
