FOG LIGHTS: adding them to a gmt900 nnbs that originally came w/o fog lights

Anybody know what I need to do in order to do this? Do I need to wire from the pcm to the light or is there already wiring?

I already have the new bumper caps.

If it was me, I would run them on toggle switch so you have an easy 6hi mod done.

I don't follow the 6hi? I'm not very electronically inclined.
Not ruling out pl4yboy's suggestion but if I were to do the fog light installation to plug into the pcm would I have to get the pcm reflashed?

I'm talking about avoiding the PCM completely and mounting a toggle switch inside the cab. 2 way switch. On/Off. 6hi means the fogs, lows, and highs all come on at the same time. This way you would have complete control of the fog lights and they wouldn't shut off with the high beams.

I don't get it. if the fogs, lows and highs are all turned on by the same switch at the same time how could the you have complete control of just the fog lights? Are you saying that when your light dial is on auto all of the lights would turn on and you would still have the option to turn the fogs off by the toggle?

I said the toggle switch controls the fog lights. You control the fogs... the other lights act normally.

Fog lights = completely independent of other lights. No tie in at all... anywhere. Fog lights on their own circuit.

If it was stock with fogs they'd turn off when brights are turned on is what he is saying... So by putting them on a toggle you can have fogs and hi beams on at same time...

Id just toggle them unless you plan on buying the lil button also to turn them on as if they were there from factor

If you want them like factory GM sells a kit and then you get the BCM reprogrammed.
