I was lookin @ the Way The intercooler is mounted with the STS kit on 99-02 silverados, I don't like it, I am afraid of hittin a curb or somethin when I ain't payin attention and crushing my intercooler + it dont look all that Great either without the plastic peice under the bumper, does anybody make a bumper cover that looks okay with the intercooler and doesnt restrict airflow?, is there any way to mount it behind the Grill, Or do I have to swap my truck over to a 03 and up frontend? I figure No matter what I am lookin @ spending Some Money!, halfway tempted to cut a hole in my truck bed and stick it back there with some little electic fans!

    any ideas?

I went with an air to water. It cost around $450.

Hey darkness, how about something like this? I have this and am going to be using
it for the same reasons. Should let in enough air I would think.

pm billy at texas rear turbos, he is selling an intercooler kit i think you could mount it behind the grill, it comes with some piping, but you would have to make some of the piping or order extra pieces to make it work, he posted a pic of the kit on heresomewhere, good luck.what about getting the SS front bumper for your truck? that would look sweet and give you air flow, i cut my front air dam like foggy did, if it wasnt 4x4 i would buy the SS bumper.

Just bring your truck to me, I'll put the FMIC anywhere you want. Im all in on mounting it in the bed.
    Look at this one.

This is one I did on a DAMN FORD. Not my first pick, but it worked perfect. The intake temps were the lowest the ford performance shop had ever seen on a FI car. He bought a ram air hood that opened right above the FMIC.

    SOON TO COME!!!!
