Maybe that's what caused fight fighter Jeffs truck to burnt to the ground..
and that is the epitome of irony.

Ive only had 1, and it took like 3 years and it was my fault, first of all it was minor all it did was blow my cold air intake off so no biggie, how it happened is after my pass while letting off the gas I didnt let go of the button![]()

The difference between winning and losing, is having a 2nd stage.
from what ive read a back fire is caused by:
1: lean running condition (ie bad tune/ distance between the fuel node and fogger)
2: poor choice in temp range spark plugs
3: what g just added
4: lunching under n20
5: applying under 3000 rpm or spraying into rev limiter
have i missed any?
I enjoyed that irony tremendously .
Nitrous should have a few safety. A WOT switch for certain. Also a window that stops spraying as it the transmission shifts/ Just to name a few.
I don't use nitrous, but it is a drug I have often fantasized about. I know next to nothing about it also.
99RCSB Broke because I wasted thousands and thousands of dollars on my truck.
Spraying at too low of a RPM is a big one. I've sprayed through the shifts a few times, long as you shift before rev limiter, won't hurt motor as much as trans
Most of the backfires I've seen have been guys stalling out at the line/ doing nitrous burnout/ etc. I have mine set on a WOT switch. I roll into it til I hit 5-10mph, then floor it. Probably not quite 2600 rpm, but close.
My new setup will be a 75 shot off the line on the WOT switch(most I can have in 1st gear without going sideways), then another 100-125 will kick in on a button for when I hit 2nd.
Run colder plugs...pull 1-2* timing for every 50 shot...run good gas....and enjoy the addiction.
blown transmissions are about as useful as 97% of the guys on this forum
thanks guys
