That top right Buck is junk. Wouldn't hold an edge period and was just uncomfortable. More power to you though if you can get it to stay sharp after cutting through butter.
And zeake, those look like really nice knives. I may pick one up, although I feel like they are a little bulky for my taste.

Those z knives look great z. I may do a little more research on those before I decide on a spider co.
And most my knives arent used wrongly. They are just played with constantly.

Z knives are made y Chris English in Thomaston Ga. His granfather taught him how do make them. The Z comes from his grandfathers first name. As long and Chris is alive you can mail the knife back to him for warranty. I have carried the knife on the right for about 5 years. The other knives are in my show case for sale. They range from $200.00 to $400.00. He makes many more and many different models. All by hand.

That site sells his knives when they can get them. Chris doesn't really have a website or store front. Even though he makes knives for a living and nothing else. He makes a real decent living to.
[QUOTE=SLO TRUCK;405491] Yes that is an ivory handled Automatic. I would sell it for $400.00. If you want more pics or a video of the action I can make that happen. Just let me know. Also the ivory on this knife was in the States before the ban on Ivory importation. I had an old guy come in and ask if I knew anyone that wanted an Elephant tusk. I knew Chris would buy it in a heart beat. He did and carved the handles on this knife.

Yah, they'll put a good edge on your butt as well ... learned that the hard way as a young'un
I really like the Gerbers I've had. I found my first one (LST Ultralight) on the floor in a john while deployed during the first Gulf War (1990). I still have it and have only had to sharpen it about a half-dozen times over the years. I use to use that thing all the time. It holds a great edge.
I wanted something different, so bought a Gerber Paraframe a few years ago to carry as a daily. I just liked the way it looks. I think Gerber is not using as good of quality of steel as they used to, but I don't know that for a fact. I do like the Kershaw blades as well.
