    Stroked 5.3????

    I've been looking all over for any info on a stroker kit or something for a 5.3, if ne1 has any info or links can ya let me know or nething else i can use. thanks guys...

    They can be stroked to a 383. You can buy kits.

    you'll be limited to the heads if not mistaken, you'll need to use 5.3 heads reason being valve shrouding.

    what you would spend on doing the 5.3 to 5.7 for a little more you can buy a nice stroker short block already assembled and ready to go

    He could probably buy a 6.0 block and forged internals for what he'd spend on the machine work and rotating assembly on a 383.

    my reasoning i guess is to make this motor last alittle longer untill i can afford to do a full build, my buddie seems to think a stroker would be a decent idea plus get more power? but is it worth the time and money id have no idea? thanks for any info tho guys i rly do applicate it

    My buddy thinks Sony Xplods are awesome speakers. I wouldn't trust it without research.

    you cant put a stroker kit in a 5.3 block, the block has to be machined
