throw in some other goodies like oil and trans coolers and you should b able to keep the temps down.

Shew had me worried for a sec. lol. Alright guys i've bout got everything figured out. For my fuel system im gonna use an aeromotive a1000 inline pump and a 100micron filter before the pump. im gonna use one of their regulators too. So what kind of fuel pressure am i looking for or is this something im gonna have to figure out once its all together?? Oh just got my local shop to quote me on a transmission build. Im gonna take it out and to them. $1800 bucks w/o converter and he gaurantees me it will withstand up to a 1000hp. That sound resonable?

I hope it's an 80e he's building, if thats a quote for a 60e he's full of. I think most guys are still running around 60 psi fuel pressure.

Build the trans when it fails. A stock 80e could last you a good while and good trans builders are few and far between.

You need a BAD ##S TUNER, ALLEN NELSON, you need a built 80E, The stock bottom end will hold as long as you don't have your foot in it all the time. I have been running 10-12 psi for 5 years and have no oil burning, no blow by, etc... It may blow tomorrow, but I doubt it. I have driven to all tracks and run at each one of them drove home. Last long track event I went to was a local group of Lightenings went to Ennis. I beat all of them and drove home(2.5 hours) on one tank of gas! It was 100 degrees at night. We had a good time.
