I bought my Optima 3 years ago(in the desert they say you rent batteries not buy them) and I've never had a problem...the truck sat for almost 2 months with the battery out. Didn't even hesitate on the first crank.

My mom bought an interstate at the same time and has gone through 3 batteries since...and she doesn't even have a system.

I sell Deka and do so because most automative batteries Deka sells have 10yr warranties. I have a 1024DT on my truck that is suspost to be a 1024CA 930CCA but it stays at about 1300CCA. I have had nothing but good luck with Dekas and would suggest you to get one even from someone in your area. just my .02
