Alright well i may be a new member but i have been reading the site for a long time, it seems if you search a couple years ago and someone was doing a swap there would be several replies that day with help or just to say nice project. Am i going about things the wrong way here? Or is my build not interesting enough? I get on here about every 2 days and expect to see something on my thread but not a thing, aside from bowtieguy's help thank you. I've just been taking to myself even with the 470 views. Not tryin to seem like a whiner, but what gives?

nobody comments on my thread either. I don't sweat it.
Yah, you can put the 96-00 (OBS) vortec clusters in your 95 interior.

why the TB converter?? higher stall? it probably doesn't have 6 bolt holes...something I like about the 80e
I'm using the stock LQ4 throttle cable, it looks like it will work. you using a vortec throttle cable?
What are you gonna do about the fuel lines? just curious, I've seen them a few different ways, that's all

Thanks for commenting, its nice every now and then! so the vortec cluster will plug right in and all? And yeah I wanted the tb converter for the extra stall, I haven't heard of any problems out of them and have read that it will stall to around 2800 behind a 6.0. A 80e would be great, i'm keeping my stock trans for fourwheel drive, much easier with stock trans. I am using a vortec cable alot of guys say they work great. for fuel lines i'm going to cut the factory metal lines somewhere at the firewall, and I bought quick connects one 5/16 and one 3/8 from o'rielly's that will clip right on my fuel rails and have a nipple for rubber lines. (I have return style rails) Then just double clamp fuel injection hose between. It seems to look cleaner than the other ways i've seen. Thanks for showing an interest I'm gonna go check out your thread now, lol

Hey guys its been awhile the swap got put on hold for some issues that came up, but anyway just an update the swap is back on the front burner! Got the pickup pulled into the shop and we started teardown. I'll pull the motor/tranny this weekend hopefully and all I am missing parts wise for the swap is a starter, electric fan harness, hoses, belt, and some sort of air filter set up. I have all my tranny parts from probuilt, and a rebuilt trailblazer converter. So as soon as I get the motor tranny out, I'll take the tranny to my builder and get started on prep work. My goal is to have it running by spring break, not sure if it'll happen!
