Stock is 7.4, but I'm confused. If you're shaving your heads, you'd want something like 7.38....

unless you're going with a thicker then stock gasket...or are putting an odd cam in there, you shouldn't need LONGER.
MidwestSS's cam called for 7.4s and if I believe there was actually a little too much pressure on them. I'm not sure what size he used/still has (he had a couple sets laying around). I am using 7.35's on mine, because my heads were shaved a little. They are probably still a little too long, but the lifters can eat some.

Yeah I dunno, 7.425's is what was recommended but makes no sense, I was in a daze apparently. Just have to measure for sure when the time comes.

I've got brand new in box Comp 7.425's that thunder wouldn't take back or exchange for 7.4's. They are still sealed in tge plastic wrap from comp.
