    I really hope you mean 1/8 mile. My truck runs low 10's in the eighth and I'm trying for 9's. It's stock except for the exhaust and tune (which could use work, I'm still learning), but it's got a man pedal so I can launch it pretty hard. Oh ya it's a 4.3 with 3.23 gears.

    Nothing wrong with 1/4 at all, but expecting to run 9s or 10's with a bolt on 4.8 is, well, rediculous. You'll do 15's at best. I'm not going to start into ways to get you in the 10's in detail but, 700+ horsepower, the drivetrain to handle it and a very well setup suspension. And it all has to work together perfectly. These are heavy brick shaped trucks, not C6's

    Well I saw the same truck as mine in the drag it brought 9 man but the engine has been swapped with a 6.2 ,he couldn't have done it without Nitrous Oxide right?
