Is there anything we can do to help set up?

Do you want any help before 12 noon or are the doors open at noon.

Had fun seeing the few people that did show up. Allen mounted the dyno into the ground in the shop which made it very convenient to get trucks on and off. Dyno'ed my truck. Put down 505 with the truck plateauing hard at 5k rpms and losing 2+lbs of boost right after it shifts into third. Some serious valve float going on with the 2+ years on my comp 918s. Going to upgrade to some duals and hopefully my truck wont be stupid slow. Great day because I finally diagnosed why my truck was sucking hard up top.

Quick little sidenote, there is no ferrell inside my manual boost gauge to actually hold the line in place. Every so often the plastic line would come out of the gauge under WOT throttle. So I never actually deemed the gauge to show the correct boost. Allen was watchin kpa(?) and helped to determine I was loosing a few lbs up top. That could of been the determining factor, but when it got on the dyno and he did a 3 pulls it showed pretty easily on the graph where it was dropping off. Which was at 5k every time for the pulls I did.

You said only a few people showed, what was the turn out? I would have been there but the commute would have been killer. Glad to hear whats going on with your truck homei.
    Name: Mark,
God created turbo lag so nitrous trucks could have a chance.

were u doing a Dyno Drag Race??.. Most times when the truck "shifts" gears on the dyno or "kicks down" then back up that will spike you about 50hp or so.... seems to work better if you use a manual 2nd gear or make a pull 3rd only.... congrats on the numbers ... not bad for a 3-4 year boosted 5.3 with front mount ....
