    Red face 97 4.3 to 6.0

I had a questions about this, it's a 5 speed and I would like to keep it that way, will the 4.3 style clutch work with the 6.0 or what do I need to do? Thanks

Find out what the setup on a 4.8L with the NV3500 was, you should be able to use the same thing.

You need the flywheel and clutch for a 4.8 5speed truck.

So I'm guessing I would need to find a wiring harness of a 4.8 2wd 5-speed to work the best?

After some more thinking on this has anyone used a nv3500 behind a 6.0, will it hold up? or would I be best to get a automatic?
    Thanks

The NV3500 will not live long behind a 6.0. Its hard pressed to live very long behind the 4.3. If it was me, I would go to the T-56 6-speed, or get a TKO. Going with an aftermarket harness would be easier-more expensive, but easier. Your best bet would be to make sure you get the 6.0 with harness and computer and modify it to work with your truck and whatever tranny you choose to run.
