    Ah, now that's what I was talking about. It always seems like the stock pushrods keep the preload on the lighter side of spec. Ive wondered about this for a while now

    Mine happens on driver side. Mine happens when i pull the boat up the hill. Toward the top one or two sounds like solid lifters.. thens fades back out slowly. I run STP oil treatment ($3) with my syn power. Straight 10w40 never had any probs
