    Another thing to keep in mind is that Truckin' just built a 5.3-just cam, heads and intake-and got 483HP and 438lb-ft out of it. That will smoke most of the 6.0s you will run across.......

    Until you put a cam, heads and intake on a 6.0.

    and, never listen to dyno numbers from a magazine

    go 6.0. either lq4 or lq9. you'll want to build onto it more later. 5.3's need more torque. it's harder to add displacement than boltons...

    Yep, 9/10 times they're on engine dynos and are inflated.
