I read that last night. I'm glad I took allot of pictures during the tear down
What is the CR of the L33? Wonder if its worth the work to switch the flat tops into my 5.3.

If you look at the pictures, you'll see that the pistons have rims, unless it's been rebuilt, it's a 5.3L. Due to wear, I had to get new pistons. I'm not sure if they are going to be flat tops
unless you're getting a huge cam or running boost, i don't see why you shouldn't get flat tops. i'd love a set. it'd definitely make my 93 tune more worth itOriginally Posted by carnell
