Replacing transmission solenoids
Well we didn't want to take our chances replacing solenoids from GM, Oreillys, and Autozone. So we chose to go with all GM replacement parts. We replaced the small sensor and the switch for the transmission plus a gasket kit. Not to mention the entire engine and all the relays and parts that attach to it. The last and only part we haven't replaced is the *transmission* . So we are back to replacing all the solenoids. Eighty dollars of transmission fluid later, we are still working on this truck. So now all my
money is gone, and my
wants to know if I'm still traveling across America to see her in Ohio. We are still stuck in WA til this truck runs immaculate.
We dropped the pan no problem, he stripped one of the solenoid screws *crying*, and almost stripped one of the transmission pan bolts. Then he sent me away to make hot cocoa because I made him nervous while I was staring at him...lol Now when I turn the key...It better work or I'm going to lose my mind~! Or give up...one.
*a scary, huge, piece of machinery that is sticky, ooey, gooey, and complicated*
