    I was shifting that little 5.3 @ 7200 and its still pullin with that big arse cam! Im doing R and D on stock 5.3 rod bolts! Ask Tyler about the spankin he got from me last month....I would pull1 or 2 lengths before i would shift and then another when it jumps sideways in 2nd.It was a blast to drive and my replacement motor is on the stand ready to go.BTW just for giggles I had pulled that little motor to 8500 a few times just to see if it would go there thats why the rev limiter was at 9000.New motor already has ARP rod bolts installed And im gonna use the cam one more time!


    FOR THE RECORD....That motor made it 11 months and 16 days of pure torture racking up 29k miles and with one oil change.It is amazing what they will take and should easily run 4-500k miles with proper oil changes...I drained the mobil 1 out 2 weeks ago and put in some cheap Orielly oil for the change....that probly didnt help.
