welcome to the site, im sure many here will tell you get a nelson tune lol, i will too. If your towing a lot of the time a shift kit, tranny cooler and extra capacity pan will keep the transmission running cooler and last much longer. I have a shift kit in my 4l80e and during normal driving it just shifts firm where you feel it shift but not anything harsh at all, under hard acceleration it shifts fast and crisp. Allen Nelson built it all for me though. I personally don't know if those wheels would fit well but if you measure the backspacing you have now and crank the wheels you will be able to see how much room you have to go.

Ah thank you for the advise.

I do mostly daily driving with my truck so I would be worried about the shift kit destroying my tranny. Or is that not the case? I am pretty proficient with a wrench but I still don't think that I would want to install the shift kit myself, something about auto trannys scares me, how much is charged to get these installed usually? Also which is the best kit for my 4l60e I have seen about 15 different ones?

Also if anyone has a confirmation on wheel fitment that would be great, I think that they should fit.

    Thanks,
    Kris
