Wow . I am sorry Moze. Your wife was super smart for getting the Oreo. I never take my dogs out of the yard without a lease and if I did I would expect something to happen. I have a pug and she is a very very good dog. She does like to run up to other animals in excitement and want to play. I know this can be detrimental to her health. I sure hope the neighbors don't go for revenge. As diplomatic as you are I think you will be ok.

Funny thing is I told her to get a "bar" so I could pry his mouth open. She thought I said "ball" (because he's fanatical about his ball) but instead grabbed an Oreo...wonder of wonders it worked lol. And yeah - the neighbors are fine and accept all responsibility.

I know some K9 Police handlers that have had to strangle dogs unconscious to get them off other police officers. Usually it takes several minutes. Any Oreo in seconds. That is too kool. Glad the neighbors dog is ok. You might later on totally neutral ground slowly introduce the neighbors dog to yours. That way next time he wont do that. Maybe anyway. Some times that works. Sometimes the Alpha dog never lets another beta dog on his turf.

They're great if they're raised with them. The primary thing is they will almost definitely try to be the dominant dog. So if you bring a young male bull breed in with a established male of any other breed, there may be problems eventually.

I'm so worn out from reading the pure retarded comments from a couple of other boards that that's all I'm going to say. lol
when i got my APBT ive been very good with introducing her with as many people and dogs/animals as i can so hopefully she will not have any animal agression as she gets older. right now her two best dog friends are a 8lb poodle and my best friends 100lb american bull boxer mix. she will also lick you to deth like most amstfs and apbts will do haha
