    295/40's to 275/45's fix rubing?

Here is my issue. I have a 3/4 drop on my 04 RCSB. I have MB Wheels that are 20X10's. I'm not sure of the offset on them (at work right now). Anyway, I currently have 295/40's on and the front tires hit the fender on bumps. I can see the rub marks on the outside of the tires and they are also getting cut a little bit. Question is, instead of searching for new wheels to buy, do you think it would be worth trying some 275/45's up front? Could that possibly eliminate rubbing issues? Also would that size be ok on a 10" wide wheel? I'll try to find the offset after work. Thanks

    thats a 20" wheel right?

Id say the 275 should give you the clearance but im not sure about that being wide enough for a 10" wide wheel. (IMO) I dont think so

I looked into that a cpl months ago at body shops. No one would touch them cause of the risk of cracking the paint on the 1/4 panel. I can turn a wrench, but I'm not sure I trust myself with body work
